Andrea Clarke BA (Hons), MCThA

Andrea is currently the Complementary/holistic practitioner at the Natural Healthcare Centre. She is fully qualified and insured in a wide range of therapies, which she uses to great effect with her client base. She has over 13 year's clinical experience in the natural healthcare field, beginning her training in 1997 at The Athena School of Natural Therapies in Birmingham. Initially she trained in reflexology, but quickly felt the need to be able to offer her clients a more comprehensive strategy for their health and wellbeing.

In 2003, she began training in energy field healing, a profound and effective technique, working on multi-dimensional levels, and so healing the "causal" level of ill health. She is passionate about her clients and practice and to this end she regularly attends courses to update and enhance her skills. Andrea is also a qualified teacher and assessor in Further Education and for many years taught a variety of holistic therapies in an FE College. At present she is focusing her energies into private practice retreats. She has a great deal of experience in therapeutic massage which is extremely popular, especially dealing with lower back pain, shoulder injury/pain, headaches and migraines, and emotional holding patterns. Recently her attention has been drawn towards fertility issues which she addresses through reflexology and energy work. This is an area she is currently specialising in.

Qualifications:

BA (Hons)
ITEC Diplomas’: anatomy and physiology, reflexology;
ITEC certificate: nutrition and diet;
A.S.I.A.C.T.: Level 1 and 2, foundation and intermediate Aura-Soma colour system;
IIHHT Diplomas: Holistic therapies ~Swedish massage, advanced massage, aromatherapy, advanced aromatherapy, Indian head massage, crystal therapy, reiki;
Diploma in Professional Energy Field Healing and advanced techniques;
Level 4 certificate in Further Education Teaching: Stage one and two;
Level 3 certificate in Assessing (A1 award).
Reproflexology part I (2009) and part II (2010).

She is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association, and The General Council for Massage Therapy, and CNHC registered for massage. She has successfully completed post graduates courses in advanced, sports and remedial massage techniques as well as many energy field postgraduate courses, including working with spiritual guidance, sacred earth, teaching, the art of transformation and accessing personal power and land and space clearing. She has trained in Reproflexology™ with Barbara Scott at Seren Fertility (part I and II) and will be part of a team setting up an association for those trained in this technique.
